Stake is a genuinely online-native casino with one of the cleanest digital-only histories in this project: founders Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani first built gambling schemes inside the online game RuneScape, then Tehrani created Primedice, a cryptocurrency dice game, in 2013, before both launched Stake.com in 2017 as a crypto-first casino with no land-based casino or betting-shop origin at any point. Stake entered Mexico via stake.mx under a permit-based structure regulated by SEGOB (Secretaría de Gobernación), reportedly operating as an agent under a license agreement with intermediary firm Uno Capali — the Mexican equivalent of the in-state “skin” partnerships this project has already documented for DraftKings, FanDuel, PartyCasino, and Fanatics in the United States.
Both gob.mx (Mexico’s federal government domain) and stake.mx itself returned HTTP 403 on every direct-fetch attempt during this research, so licensing and responsible-gambling details rest on secondary sourcing rather than a direct regulator or operator confirmation this time.
